Charity Ball – QHOF

Queens Head Oddfellows Fund (QHOF) is a local charity fund based south of Maidstone, covering the three Suttons area.

Every year QHOF hold an annual summer ball to raise money for a chosen charity. For this years charity ball they sourced a woodland location nestled between Headcorn and Sutton Valence. This years chosen charity was Hayley’s’ Heroes. A Maidstone based charity support young adults with cancer.

Four Jays was contacted to help to plan the event and provide suitable products to enhance the area. We worked closely with the QHOF committee to ensure that this a successful and spectacular summer ball.

The concept comprised of:
– A marquee large enough for a full sit-down supper for 250 guests.
– A large dance floor and stage for the band and auction.
– A catering tent, green room for the entertainers and of course a sumptuous bar area.
– A magical entrance from the drop off and parking area; an enchanting fairy lit walk through the woods.

As well as functional equipment including power, food and drinks chillers, a full kitchen of cooking equipment and of course loos suitable for a black-tie function.

The QUOF charity ball was a huge success and over £10,000 was raised for Hayley’s Heroes. It is always our honour and privilege to work alongside committees and charities such as QHOF and Hayley’s Heroes.
